We are looking for a skilled CNC operator/setter/programmer with the CNC/Precision Machinist Certificate with a minimum of two years of experience in setting, programming and operating CNC lathes/mills with Fanuc controllers to join our dynamic team in our facility in Welland, ON.

Responsibilities
• Measure and lay out work pieces in preparation for assembly
• Read and interpret engineering drawings, blueprints, charts and tables
• Set up and adjust production machineries/tools
• Fit and assemble components and machine parts to close tolerance
• Maintain, repair and calibrate precision measuring instruments
• Document and report deviations from specifications and tolerances
• Maintain inspection records and complete inspection reports
• Verify dimensions of parts machined using precise measuring instruments (e.g., micrometres, calipers)
• Set up and operate conventional and CNC machine tools
• Verify dimensions of products for accuracy and conformance to specifications using precision measuring instruments
• Read blueprints to determine work requirements
• Enter codes specifying speed, feed and cut of the tool path for computer numerically controlled (CNC) machine tools
• The degree in Mechanical Engineering Technology is a great asset
