Job Summary:
We are seeking a Production Control Storekeeper to manage production programs, prevent assembly shortages, and ensure on-time delivery of customer products. This role requires proficiency with MRP and production control tools to generate reports, manage inventory, and maintain schedules. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in production planning and control, with strong organizational and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities
Key Responsibilities:
Generate shortage reports, track behind-schedule items, and alert Manufacturing, Procurement, and Program Management of issues.
Identify bottlenecks in work centers and assist in resolving them.
Manage internal production priorities and adjust MRP schedules as needed.
Process MRP reports and prepare other necessary reports and schedules for Managers/Coordinators.
Track and record tooling, parts, and materials throughout the plant, ensuring full traceability.
Submit regular progress reports on production programs, including jig status and shop orders.
Maintain proper storage and inventory of company and customer property, ensuring proper wrapping, placement, and adherence to FIFO (First-In/First-Out) procedures.
Prepare outbound shipments and ensure proper documentation for inspections and deliveries.
Receive parts into inventory, ensuring accuracy through counting, weight verification, and quality checks.
Manage shop orders, ensuring traceability and maintaining accurate inventory records.
Complete required quality forms and paperwork, including DMR (Discrepant Material Reports) and other compliance-related documentation.
Conduct cycle counting and expiry checks to ensure material integrity.
Support job receipt, issue material/replacement material, handle job splits, and manage cache lists.
Take corrective actions on scrap tags, stock purges, and shortages to prevent assembly delays.
Maintain an organized, safe workspace and follow all company safety standards and practices.
Qualifications
Qualifications/Experience:
High school diploma or equivalent required
1–2 years of experience in a production control or related environment.
Proficient in MRP systems and computer literacy.
Experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel).
Knowledge of indented BOMs (Bills of Materials) and inventory management practices.
Additional experience in cycle counting and material expiry control.
