Summary:

Under the general guidance of the Operations Manager, the Customer Service & Dispatch Coordinator position is a position that is responsible to maintain office services by organizing office operations and procedures, providing logistics & dispatching of drivers to customer sites, controlling correspondence between drivers and customers, and maintaining the filing system. The position is expected to respond in a professional and courteous manner to staff, drivers and customers by providing accurate and timely information and support.

Responsibilities: 

Respond to telephone and email inquiries regarding service
Fill out required paperwork for any customer requests
Controls routing & dispatching of drivers to customer sites, while ensuring route efficiency
Utilize the GPS software to direct and assist drivers for optimal customer services
Ensure all route paperwork received during your shift has been completed thoroughly and accurately; address all concerns with the driver.
Organizing, filing & tracking all customer receipts & paperwork
Month end invoicing duties to be completed as required
Daily data entry of all customers’ services completed with accuracy
Track and facilitate the ordering and delivery or pick up of all supplies for the office and shop
Performs other duties as assigned, requested or deemed necessary by management

Qualifications: 

Minimum 1 to 2 years work experience as in an office environment
Minimum 1 year of customer service experience
Experience in the waste industry is considered an asset
Experience in dispatch & route creation considered an asset
Proven ability to multi-task
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Outstanding organizational and leadership skills
Experience working with Microsoft Office is a must, experience in Microsoft Access is an asset
Must have ability to read and understand maps

Base Salary: 
$18-20 per hour, based on experience
Work Hours: 
Full Time. Monday – Friday
