Daycare Manager/Supervisor

Responsible for ensuring that all legislative requirements are met Child Care & Early Years Act, 2014, Health department, Fire Department, Municipal by-laws, Occupational health & safety Act Labour relations/Employment standards Privacy laws Responsible for providing up to date lists & requirements for supplies/equipment etc. on a monthly basis Responsible for ongoing maintenance of staff Responsible for maintaining and promoting professionalism Ensure all staff performance reviews are completed on time: Provide ongoing constructive feedback Provide support and guidance to staff Co-ordinate supply staff &develop daily staff schedule & lunch schedule Plan & implement regular staff meetings & assist staff in duties when necessary Ensure staffing requirements are met at all times (holidays, sickness etc.) Maintaining enrollment, updating centre projections bi-weekly On-going communication with all the families
Registered Early Childhood Educator (RECE) & membership in good standing with the College of ECEs or Director Approved by the Ministry of Education • 5 years Licensed child care supervisory experience • Previous Child Care Supervisory experience is an asset • Immunizations as required by Public Health • Current Standard First Aid, CPR-C certification • A clear Criminal Reference Check – Vulnerable Sector Search will be required upon hiring
