Our Client in the Hamilton area is currently in need of a Receptionist for a short term opportunity. This opportunity will be approximately 4 days in length. Our client is a local company with an excellent team of individuals to work with.

As the Receptionist you will be responsible for handling a multi-line switchboard and handling incoming calls to the company. You will also act as the first point of contact for many visitors. You will also be assisting with some administrative duties such as word processing, filing, faxing, scheduling couriers, and other overflow duties that may require your assistance. 


As the ideal candidate for this Receptionist role, you will have a minimum of 2+ years of experience in a similar role handling a multi-line switchboard. You should have strong inter-personal and communication skills to greet visitors on the phone and in person. Intermediate level skills in Microsoft Word and Microsoft Outlook combined with a typing speed of 30+ words per minute would be a strong asset. You should also be comfortable with using an internet browser for internet research, or scheduling couriers that may be required.
