Bob The Mover is looking for dependable movers to join our backup crew. You’ll work with the crew lead to help customers move safely and carefully.

On-call work at $20 per hour, as needed, with no guaranteed shifts.

Job Location

Fort Erie / Niagara region

Responsibilities

Protect, move, load and unload furniture, boxes and other household items.
Help pack the moving truck securely.
Assist with furniture assembly and disassembly using basic tools.
Follow safe lifting methods and the crew lead’s instructions.
Treat customers and their belongings with care.

Qualifications

Reliable transportation to the designated meeting point.
Dependability when accepting shifts and prompt communication if something changes.
Good teamwork, attention to detail and willingness to learn.
Ability to perform the physical duties of moving, including handling heavy items and working on stairs, using appropriate equipment and team lifting.
Successful candidates will be asked to provide a background check.

Base Salary

$20 per hour

Work Hours

Work is offered as needed, with no guaranteed weekly shifts. Tell us which days you can reliably work and how much notice you need. Full availability is not required.

Experience Requirements

Moving, packing, physical-work or DIY experience is an asset.
