ADL Process

The purpose of the TL-SRF is to ensure that the Shipping, Receiving & Forklift department is operating efficiently and in accordance with all company health & safety policies. The TL-SRF works directly for the Plant Supervisor and assists with the company’s productivity objectives and works directly on a forklift. The TL-SRF manages all Shipping & Receiving & internal forklift usage. The TL-SRF is also responsible for ensuring that all forklift staff are properly trained in all Hands-on requirements. The TL-SRF is directly responsible for safety & timeliness of the Shipping, Receiving & Forklift department in the facility.

Responsibilities

Primary Responsibilities
• Department operation: Receiving, Internal movement & Shipping of ADL material.
• Timeliness & safety of all tasks
• Monitor and manage proper placement of material in the designated area on the floor i.e., check if skids are properly aligned in the designated area.
• Training: Hands-on.
• Requesting Tools (if required) & PPE from the Supervisor
• Ensure all SRF department staff is wearing PPE at all times while on the floor.
• Manage tools: collecting and returning of tools i.e., replacement of tools, shovels, broom to its original place after use.
• Monitor SRF department staff and tools throughout the workday.
• Employee Productivity submission to supervisor in a timely fashion.
• Conduct daily pre-start meeting with forklift drivers.
• Assign FL drivers to positions in rotations ensuring all drivers are capable of filling in any FL positions.

Secondary responsibilities
• Responsible for Forklift inspections & report to supervisor
• Manage placement of material and forklifts on the floor.
• The following job duties also fall under the responsibility of the TL-SRF:
• Sweeping & general clean-up of the facility

Qualifications

• High School a must, some college/university an asset.
• Tool & equipment operation experience
• Forklift License & Training

• Ability to work as the head of a team.
• Accurate completion of data a must in this position.
• Safe & efficient work habits
