The Niagara Pumphouse Arts Centre is seeking an enthusiastic and organized Art Camp Coordinator to support our 2026 Summer Art Camp and community outreach programming for children ages 4–12 and families in the Niagara Region.

Responsibilities

● Coordinate in-studio summer art camps and outreach art activities
● Assist with planning lesson plans, materials lists, and visual examples
● Manage art supply inventory and ordering
● Teach and supervise children during camps and outreach events
● Support online/hybrid program technology setup
● Collaborate with Camp Leaders, Counsellors, Volunteers, and Staff
● Communicate professionally with parents/guardians and visitors
● Occasionally support gallery supervision and administrative tasks
● Complete required Health & Safety training, WHMIS certification, and Vulnerable Sector Check

Qualifications

● Visual arts experience and knowledge of multiple mediums
● Experience teaching or supervising children
● Strong leadership, organization, and communication skills
● Ability to multitask and problem-solve
● Strong digital skills
● Motivated team player
Working Conditions
Indoor/outdoor work onsite and at community events. Some evenings/weekends may be required. May involve lifting materials and basic setup/cleanup.

Base Salary

$17.90/hour
