The Niagara Pumphouse Arts Centre is seeking energetic and responsible Camp Counsellors to support our 2026 Summer Art Camp and outreach programming for children and families across the Niagara Region.
● Jr. Camp Counsellor: campers ages 4–8
● Sr. Camp Counsellor: campers ages 9–12
Responsibilities
● Assist with camp planning for recreational break activities
● Studio and equipment set up and clean up
● Lead outdoor break activities
● Assist with instruction and supervision of children during camps and outreach events
● Occasionally support gallery supervision and administrative tasks
● Complete required Health & Safety training, WHMIS certification, and Vulnerable Sector Check
Qualifications
● Interest in visual arts and working with children
● Experience supervising children
● Strong teamwork, organization, and communication skills
● Strong digital skills
● Motivated team player
Working Conditions
Indoor/outdoor work onsite and at community events. Some evenings/weekends may be required. May involve lifting materials and basic setup/cleanup.
Base Salary
$17.70/hour

- Have a valid Social Insurance Number
