Responsibilities

Make adjustments and minor repairs to heating, cooling, ventilating, plumbing, and electrical systems, and contact tradespersons for major repairs
Perform routine maintenance duties such as painting and drywall repair
Maintain inventory of supplies and equipment and make minor purchases as required
Respond to requests from guests for minor repairs
Perform daily inspections of building systems
Provide general assistance to skilled tradespersons such as mechanics, electricians, carpenters, and plumbers
Coordinate the preparation of units prior to the arrival of new guests
Ensure security and safety measures are in place throughout the establishment
Show units to prospective guests, use POS and checkout guests
May advertise vacancies, show apartments and offices to prospective tenants, and collect rent
May move heavy furniture, equipment, and supplies
May supervise other workers
Respond to maintenance requests from hotel guests and staff in a timely and professional manner
Assist with guest check-in and check-out procedures as required
Answer telephone calls and respond to guest inquiries
Take and modify reservations using the hotel property management system (PMS)
Use computer systems to update room status, maintenance logs, and guest information

Qualifications

High School Diploma or Equivalent
Minimum College Degree
Minimum 2 years’ experience as a superintendent with hotel experience

Base Salary

Wage: $21.00 per hour

30 per week
