We are seeking a compassionate, reliable, and responsible Home Care Worker to provide support in our home. The successful candidate will assist with daily living activities, maintain a safe and comfortable environment, and provide companionship while promoting the client's independence and dignity.

Responsibilities

Prepare and serve meals according to dietary requirements.
Perform light housekeeping, laundry, and household tasks.
Provide companionship and emotional support.
Accompany clients to appointments, errands, or recreational activities when required.
Maintain client privacy, dignity, and confidentiality.
Respond appropriately to emergencies and follow established procedures.

Qualifications

Previous experience in home care, or a related field is preferred.
Caring, patient, respectful, and dependable personality.
Good communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and follow care instructions.
Ability to maintain confidentiality and professional boundaries.
A valid driver's licence and own vehicle
Criminal record/vulnerable sector check may be required, depending on the position and local requirements.

Base Salary

$25/hr

Work Hours

3 days a week - Monday, Wednesday and Fridays, 10 hrs per week.
