Responsibilities

Technician will learn/perform all aspects of communications and network wiring from start to finish, pulling wire throughout a building to a communications point and then terminating communications jacks, mounting cameras and security components as well as learning how to program and operate the equipment.

Qualifications

Must possess a valid Class “G” Ontario Driver’s License and provide driving abstract.
Be able to drive full size service van or large cube van (with Trailer an asset).
Ontario Working at Heights Certification and Skyjack Ticket an asset.
Clean appearance, able to deal with customers and stressful situations.
Be available to work after hours, overnight and weekends occasionally
Must be physically fit and be able to handle tall ladders, cannot be afraid of heights or claustrophobic as you will work in tight spaces, able to work in dirty, dusty, and outdoor environments.
Must be safety oriented and have own safety work boots.
Must have a commonsense type of approach, be good at problem solving and have the ability to read technical manuals.
Experience in communications is an asset but willing to train the right candidate Work performed in residential and commercials settings. This includes voice, data, alarm, CCTV, door access control, and security applications.

Base Salary

$21-$25 per hour, dependent on experience
