AZ Truck Driver- Long Haul

One World Logistics is a multi-national global logistics company with offices in the USA (Miami and Buffalo) and Canada (Niagara, Sarnia ). OWL facilitates Import/Export and Logistics of transportation assets around the Globe utilizing Over-the-Road, Rail and Ocean Freight for many clients world-wide.

Position: AZ Long-Haul Driver - Full-time

Start Date: ASAP
Now hiring reliable and skilled Drivers to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for transporting new transportation assets safely and efficiently. This position requires a good understanding of truck operation, adherence to US and Canadian safety regulations, international border crossings, and the ability to use E-log software. Driver will play a crucial role in ensuring timely deliveries working with a dedicated dispatch team, all the while maintaining the highest standards of service.

Compensation:

Compensation range: $8,000 to $13,000+ monthly (depending on experience, load fulfilment and location);

Key Responsibilities:

· Conduct pre and post-trip inspections of trucks and trailers to ensure they are in good working condition, and very basic maintenance tasks such as checking fluid levels and topping-up if required

· Log all necessary remarks including fuel purchases

· Operate truck safely and efficiently to transport trailers to designated locations

· Maintain accurate records of deliveries, including mileage, fuel usage, and delivery confirmations

· Adhere to all traffic laws and safety regulations while on the road

· Communicate effectively with dispatchers and other team members regarding deliveries and other such tasks.

Safely operate large commercial trucks over long-distance routes, adhering to all traffic laws and safety regulations
Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections to ensure vehicle safety and compliance
Maintain accurate delivery logs, records, and documentation for each trip
Communicate effectively with dispatchers regarding schedules, delays, or issues during transit
Perform basic automotive repairs or troubleshooting when necessary to ensure vehicle readiness
Assist with freight handling, securing cargo properly to prevent damage during transit
Follow company policies on safety procedures and operational protocols at all times
Qualifications:

· AZ or Class 1 license with a clean drivers abstract. Abstract required with resume when applying.

· Minimum 5 years verifiable commercial driving experience in North America

· Excellent time management skills with the ability to meet tight deadlines

· Ability to work independently or as part of a team

· Exceptional organizational skills. Organizing and remitting paperwork.

· Strong communication skills for effective interaction with team members and clients.

· Self-motivated attitude

· Strong work ethic

· Ability to maintain a positive demeanor in difficult situations

· Must be fluent in English. French fluency is a major asset.
