Responsibilities

Perform inspections, diagnostic tests, troubleshooting and general vehicle repair
Perform preventative maintenance services and maintenance related work as required
Conduct safety checks on vehicles and equipment
Perform service calls for emergency breakdowns
Manage work orders and assist in cost tracking, invoice reconciliation and third party repair pricing
Manage and report on fleet health, truck downtime and upcoming repairs
Maintain a functional shop, equipped with the necessary stock parts to keep trucks mobile
Discuss budget and needs with managers
Work in compliance with Company Health and Safety policies and OHSA standard
Keep neat and organized records of services and work in process

Qualifications

Truck Mechanic (310T) Licence
3 plus years experience
