Position Title: Digital Media & Retail Agent – Full-Time Seasonal Contract
Reports To: Digital Media, Retail + Concessions Head Supervisor
Position Overview: The Digital Media & Retail Agent will play a critical role as part of the Digital Media & Retail team. In this position, they will shoot and edit photo and video content for our sale in our River Shop. They will also maintain constant interaction with guests in our Retail River Shop and Concession Snack Stand, to recommend, select and help locate or obtain merchandise and media products based on customer needs and desires.
Lights, cameras, action! Our Digital Media & Retail Agents have the perfect mixture of creative flair and people skills. They capture and edit all of the photos and videos of our tours, for sale in our Retail River Shop. You may ask, ‘how do the guests look so good while getting pummeled in the face with water?’ It’s an art and our DMR Agents are the experts. For this position, you must like making people smile and have a love for the digital arts. The ability to sell lots of magnets is considered an asset.

Responsibilities
Responsibilities:
-Brew a variety of high-quality hot beverages using a semi-automated brewer, ensuring consistency and adherence to preparation standards.
-Process transactions efficiently for beverages, packaged concession snacks, digital media products, and retail merchandise, delivering prompt and professional service.
-Manage inventory levels by restocking shelves and ensuring merchandise is attractively displayed and aligned with company presentation standards.
-Adhere to proper food and beverage handling procedures, maintaining compliance with safety and hygiene regulations.
-Handle cash transactions accurately and securely, including balancing the register at the beginning and end of each shift.
-Operate and manage a variety of technical equipment, including DSLR cameras, GoPro cameras, and editing software such as Adobe Lightroom and Final Cut Pro, to capture high-quality photo and video content. ( training provided in-house.)
-Edit and create photos and videos with attention to detail and quality standards.that enhances the guest experience and excitement for their adventure, ensuring every guest receives memorable keepsakes from their tour.
-Troubleshoot digital imaging hardware and resolve minor issues to ensure uninterrupted operations.
-Upload completed content to PicThrive, the company’s media distribution partner, ensuring timely availability for guests to access their tour memories.
-Interact with guests to capture their excitement and highlight key moments of their experience.
-Contribute to a fun and engaging atmosphere, enhancing the overall tour experience
-Work outdoors in all weather conditions, adapting to various environments while maintaining a professional and positive attitude.
-Regularly check and clean assigned work areas and equipment to maintain a safe, organized, and professional environment.
-Follow established cleaning protocols to ensure a hygienic workspace and guest areas.
-Perform other duties as assigned by the Supervisor or Manager to support the team and overall operations
Qualifications
Ideal Candidate would have or acquire:
-(2+ years) Customer service or guest-facing experience
-Excellent oral communication – confident when speaking in person and in front of groups
-Punctuality and respect of time constraints and demands when serving large numbers of people
-Experience using Adobe Lightroom, SLR Cameras, and Final Cut Pro is considered an asset
Base Salary
$17.90/hr
Work Hours
30-44hrs/wk, 7 days a week, full time seasonal, weekends, holidays

Experience Requirements
2+ years of customer service experience preferred
